Finally, after months of reworking the demo since the days of SAGE 2024, I finally have a much better demo to showcase you all!

First up...

The opening story

In Smitty 1 / Smitty's Journey, the story was 100% told visually, seen by many without any context. That no changes in Smitty 2, stories are now told not only visually, but with accompanying text as well.

And you'll going to see the story right here in the demo, through the newly-added opening cutscene when you start your adventure for the first time.

Reworked save system

Comparing to the old SAGE 2024 demo, the save system in this demo has been revamped to support multiple save slots. There won't be any save slots in this demo, but your progress will be saved in a specialized file so you can import that save into the full version.

Gamepad controls in the Options

If you need to know how to play the game with your controller, this tab in the Options dialog is for you!

Other highlights

• Emerald Plains is now in a completed form! (might subject to change)
• New assists: The Yurelumis and the returning Bunbunny
• Reworked the audio engine
• Rescuing Dropples no longer lock the character in the victory animation
• Said victory animation now only plays after defeating the boss
• Reworked some dialogues
• For old players, the save system has been reworked from the first demo
